Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: [PM] Nikol Pashinyan's anti-national statements about the [Armenian] genocide, [Mount] Ararat and the rest, as interpreted by his own [political] team, pursue one goal: to court President [Recep Tayyip] Erdogan of Turkey at any cost, with whom, according to some rumors, he is in direct contact, to convince [him] that Erdogan force [Azerbaijani president Ilham] Aliyev to sign the peace treaty, which Pashinyan and the CC [i.e. Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract Party] need like air and water to go to the [parliamentary] elections [in 2026] and reproduce themselves.

The thing is that all polls show that the [incumbent Armenian] authorities’ [popularity] rating has reached a historic minimum, and if the promised treaty is not signed, which will supposedly establish a stable peace, the authorities have no chance of remaining [in power]. In the previous elections, too, Pashinyan deceived the voter with the slogans of peace and extracted votes by conducting counter-propaganda against the opposition, [saying] that they want war.

Of course, it is a question of how any paper will bring us peace, but the CC members have convinced themselves that it is their only salvation and only hope for reproduction.
