The OSCE Minsk Group and its related institutions are subject to being dissolved. Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), stated this at Friday’s press briefing.

According to Zakharova, the fact that the Minsk Group should be dissolved is confirmed also by the joint statement by the president of Azerbaijan and the prime minister of Armenia, as well as the president of France and the representative of the European Council, which was adopted on October 6, 2022 in Prague.

“The Minsk Group has lost the object of its activities. It is clearly subject to being dissolved. This ripened measure is aimed at contributing to the long-awaited normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. I have nothing more to add to this,” Zakharova said.
