The explosion in a residential complex in Moscow may be related to the assassination attempt against Armen Sargsyan, head of the Boxing Federation of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) and founder of the Arbat battalion, Mash newspaper reports.

According to it, the man was seriously injured, he is in the intensive care unit.

The explosion occurred when he was walking through the hall—and accompanied by guards.

According to official data, the man who died in the explosion could not be identified because his face was severely damaged.

The three injured are in severe condition. The female security guard of the residential complex and four residents were also injured.

Sargsyan, 46, also known as Armen Gorlovsky, was engaged in training fighters in Gorlovka (DPR).

Earlier, Armen Sargsyan was charged in Ukraine, in particular, with participation in illegal armed units that conducted military operations against the Ukrainian armed forces. He is wanted in Ukraine; he previously had Ukrainian citizenship.
