Russian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Alexei Borodavkin urged not to make hasty conclusions about the crash involving an Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane after the publication of the preliminary investigation report.

“As for the investigation, it is being handled by the relevant expert organizations of Azerbaijan, Brazil, Kazakhstan and Russia. I urge not to hurry with hasty conclusions and conclusions, but to wait for the final results,” he said in an interview with TASS.

The diplomat noted that specialists from the republic acted professionally during the investigation. “Kazakhstan shows high professionalism and objectivity as part of efforts to identify all the circumstances of this tragedy,” Borodavkin said.

“We have repeatedly said that the crash of the airplane in Aktau is a common tragedy, and we mourn all the victims. President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin also offered his condolences and apologized for the fact that the tragic incident occurred in Russian airspace,” he said.
