Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s participation in events being held in the US is important, Armenian National Assembly speaker Alen Simonyan told reporters Tuesday.
According to him, meetings in such a format contribute to the formation of attitudes towards Armenia. He added that many issues are resolved more effectively during "on the spot" meetings than in other formats.
Simonyan noted that Pashinyan's recent visit to the US was not official, and it was a meeting with representatives of broad political circles.
"In all major countries, there are circles that dictate policy," emphasized the Armenian parliament speaker.
