Ukraine may offer Russia an exchange of territories. We are talking about exchanging a part of the Kursk Region for the Ukrainian territory controlled by the occupants, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said in an interview with The Guardian.
According to the Ukrainian president, if negotiations with Russia start, he plans to offer Moscow a direct exchange of territories. Kyiv will offer part of the Kursk region's territories in exchange for Ukrainian territories, RBC-Ukraine reports.
“We will exchange one territory for another,” he noted.
At the same time, Zelensky clarified that he does not yet know what part of the occupied territories Ukraine will demand in return.
“I don't know, we'll see. But all our territories are important, there is no priority,” Zelensky added.
