A meeting between Russian and US delegations will take place in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, American and Russian media report. This is reported, in particular, by the Axios portal and the Kommersant newspaper.

The American side is expected to be represented at the meeting by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz, and Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff.

It has not been officially announced who will head the Russian delegation, but media sources write that it could be Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov and Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergey Naryshkin, could also participate.
