Rescuers have already found 10 bodies of residents who died as a result of a massive landslide on February 8 in Sichuan Province in southwest China. This was reported by the People's Government of Junlian County, where the emergency occurred.

As specified on its page in WeChat, 19 people are still missing. Two others were injured. 10 houses were destroyed and more than 100 hectares of farmland were affected.

On Feb. 9, Xinhua News Agency reported 1 dead and 28 missing. The landslide came down a day earlier in one of the villages near Yibin city.

According to local authorities, the competent state agencies evacuated more than 760 people in connection with the incident. More than 3,000 military, medical, rescue and security personnel are working at the scene. In addition, search dogs, drones, large-sized engineering machinery and specialized equipment are involved.
