Representatives of Russia and the United States are discussing the revival of cooperation on the bunch of economic projects, chief executive of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev, who is participating in the Russia-US talks in Saudi Arabia, told reporters, according to TASS.

"We met members of the US delegation and we are discussing the reunification of certain projects in the economic sphere. It is very important that the US companies for the first time heard this figure today: they lost $300 billion because of leaving the Russian market," Dmitriev said.

The discussion on joint economic projects is critical for the restart of the dialogue, the RDIF chief executive added.

"Therefore, we will certainly move along the political path which is led by [Russian FM] Mr. [Sergey] Lavrov and [Russian presidential aide] Mr. [Yuri] Ushakov respectively, and along the economic path which I have been entrusted to lead," concluded Kirill Dmitriev.
