The foreign ministers of European Union (EU) member states are preparing to present a new military aid package for Ukraine Monday, which will include ammunition supplies, announced Kaja Kallas, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.
"We are discussing and hopefully can pass the 16th package of sanctions, which includes [restrictions on] gaming consoles to shadow fleet, different aspects. Then, we have also put forward a new defense initiative to support Ukraine with ammunition capabilities in the short term," Kallas said upon arrival at the meeting of foreign ministers of the EU.
She added that European Commission chief Ursula von der Leyen is now in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine.
