The talks between the Russian and US delegations on embassy work issues have ended in Istanbul, Turkey, after six and a half hours, TASS reports.

The talks ended without comments for the press.

At about 4:20pm local time (1:20pm GMT), the car with the Russian delegation left the area of the residence of the US consul general in Istanbul, where the talks were held.

As reported earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had stated that “high-level diplomats and experts” were participating in the talks.

The talks were held behind closed doors.
