The next meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia will be held in Turkey, the press service of the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.

According to the report, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan discussed this issue during talks in Ankara.

According to the report, prospects of deepening regional and transport energy cooperation were also discussed at the ministers' meeting.

“The strategic importance of the Black Sea region and the need to fully utilize its available potential were noted.

In addition, special attention was paid to the importance of the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey Trilateral Strategic Partnership Platform, within the framework of which the next meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the three countries will be held in Turkey. 

The importance of the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipeline, Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad, and Southern Gas Corridor projects was emphasized, taking into account the “Middle Corridor” concept.

Maka Bochorishvili invited her colleague to Georgia at a time convenient for her,” the Georgian Foreign Ministry reports.
