The US and Ukraine have reached an agreement on a mineral deal, and negotiations on that matter have been concluded, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated on Thursday.

The deal is done. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will come Friday to sign, so negotiations on that matter are no longer underway. President Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump will discuss a wide range of topics. But as far as the deal is concerned, it is done. The text is already on paper, the Ukrainian government has approved it, and now the document is just waiting to be signed, Bessent said on Fox Business.

This is a deal for strategic minerals, oil and natural gas, as well as infrastructure assets, the US Treasury Secretary explained.

In his opinion, this agreement will be beneficial for both Washington and Kyiv.
