Russia has banned the entry of Japan's foreign minister, the Foreign Ministry has reports.

As part of retaliatory measures to the ongoing sanctions actions of official Tokyo against our country in connection with the special military operation, a decision has been taken to indefinitely ban the following Japanese citizens from entering the Russian Federation:

  1. Takeshi IWAYA - Minister of Foreign Affairs;
     
  2. Masashi NAKAGOME - Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine;
     
  3. Kuninori MATSUDA - former Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine (2021-2024);
     
  4. Shohei HARA, senior vice president of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA);
     
  5. Hideki MATSUNAGA - Head of JICA's office in Ukraine;
     
  6. Hiroshi IDE - President of IHI Corporation;
     
  7. Shinsuke MINAMI - President of ISUZU Motors Limited;
     
  8. Shunsuke TOYA - President of Prodrone Co., Ltd;
     
  9. Yoshiyuki SANKAI, President of Cyberdyne, Inc.
