Britain will include Iran, including its intelligence services and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in the top tier of the upcoming Foreign Influence Registration Scheme (FIRS), Security Minister Dan Jarvis said on Tuesday, according to Reuters.

Britain describes FIRS as a two-tier scheme designed to strengthen the resilience of Britain's political system to covert foreign influence.

In this way, London reportedly intends to provide greater certainty about the activities of certain foreign powers or organizations that pose a risk to national security.
