The Moscow-Yerevan flight of the Russian Azimuth airline returned to Moscow's Vnukovo International Airport 40 minutes after takeoff due to technical problems, one of the passengers told Armenpress.

The passenger noted that the plane took off from Vnukovo airport at 8:40am Moscow time, but 40 minutes after takeoff, the flight crew informed that the plane was returning to Vnukovo due to technical problems with the plane.

The aforesaid passenger added that they have now been transferred to another plane of the same airline, on which they will return to Yerevan. The flight has not yet taken off.
