The Interim Friday prayer leader of Tehran strongly reacted to the recent statements made by Turkey's top diplomat against Iran, reports Mehr.
Seyed Mohammad Khatami, in his sermon, criticized the Turkish foreign minister Hakan Fidan, who had suggested that Iran should abandon its regional policy.
“Iran's policy is good neighborliness, and we have no intention of clashing with our neighbors, and this is explicitly stated in our Constitution,” Khatami said
Also, he urged the Turkish FM to apologize for such statements and avoid repeating them, asserting that it would be in Turkey’s best interest.
