The Armenian delegation has not commented on handing over the body of Armenian woman Vera Aghasyan, said the Deputy Head of the State Security Service of Azerbaijan, Sharafat Hasanov, APA reports.

He recalled that the Armenian side and the children of Vera Aghasyan—born in 1954 and who died in Nagorno-Karabakh capital Stepanakert on October 20 last year—were informed about her death via the International Committee of the Red Cross.

"All necessary documentation for the transfer of the body was prepared, and even during a meeting held at the border in February of this year without the participation of mediators, the issue was directly brought to the attention of the Armenian delegation, the other side has not responded to the transfer of the body for nearly 5 months," Hasanov added.
