The UK is giving advices to Ukrainian officials ahead of their talks with the American delegation in Saudi Arabia, reports The Times.
UK National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell arrived in Ukraine over the weekend and instructed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on how Kyiv representatives should conduct themselves in negotiations with the Americans.
Also, Powell had a telephone conversation with US National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, during which he spoke in favor of restoring intelligence sharing between Washington and Kyiv.
London believes that it will be easier to cancel the decision of US President Donald Trump's administration to suspend intel sharing than to resume American arms supplies to Ukraine.
This topic was raised also during a talk between UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, who will visit Washington in the coming days.
