Evacuation of Armenians from Syria is currently impossible due to security conditions. This was stated by Nelly Ghulyan, press secretary of the Office of the Chief Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs under the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia, in a conversation with Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to her, the office is in contact with the colleagues of the Foreign Ministry. She added that when the situation calms down, if Armenians desire to move, the authorities will provide them with all possible support.
