At 3:26pm on Tuesday, the crisis management center of the Aragatsotn provincial rescue department received a report that an avalanche had occurred on the northern peak of Mount Aragats, an expedition team consisting of nine people was trapped under the avalanche, eight of them had gotten out, but one person was missing, the Rescue Service of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

An emergency team from the Aragatsotn provincial rescue department, one fire and rescue squad, and a rescue team of the special rescue operations center of the rescue forces department have been dispatched to the scene.
