Eight people were injured in the avalanche on the northern peak of Armenia’s Mount Aragats.

The injured were hospitalized with the help of ambulance crew.

The Ministry of Health of Armenia reports that doctors have initially diagnosed them with moderate and mild polytrauma.

Earlier, we reported that at 3:26pm on Tuesday, the crisis management center of the Aragatsotn provincial rescue department of Armenia received a report that an avalanche had occurred on the northern peak of Mount Aragats, an expedition team consisting of nine people was trapped under the avalanche, eight of them had gotten out, but one person was missing.
