A group of former residents Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) are holding a rally in front of the Swiss embassy in Armenia.

They are expressing their gratitude to the Swiss Parliament for the measures being taken by its lower house.

In December 2024, the lower house of the Swiss Parliament, the National Council, adopted a resolution calling on the Swiss government to hold an international forum dedicated to the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The participants of the rally call on the Swiss Parliament’s upper house to also adopt the resolution, and say they will appeal to the Swiss government to use its proven role as a neutral mediator to launch international discussions on the right of return of forcibly displaced Artsakh residents.
