The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has conveyed to the Azerbaijani MFA through diplomatic channels that Armenia accepts Azerbaijan's proposals on two uncoordinated articles of the draft agreement on peace and establishment of interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and has proposed to issue a joint statement on the agreement on the text of this draft peace agreement and the completion of negotiations on the draft agreement, the Armenian MFA noted in a statement it issued on Thursday.

The statement adds that Azerbaijan, however, preferred to issue a unilateral statement.

The Armenian MFA confirms the agreement on the draft agreement on peace and establishment of interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the end of negotiations on the agreement of this draft.

Thus, the peace agreement is ready for signing, and Armenia is ready to begin consultations with Azerbaijan on the timeframes and place of signing this agreement, the Armenian MFA added.
