Russian President Vladimir Putin is determined to complete the operation to liberate the Kursk region as soon as possible, and his appearance in the region in military uniform can be viewed in this vein, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov explained, TASS reports.

“This is rather a signal of determination to complete the operation to liberate the Kursk region from militants in the very near future. The operation, as it was reported to Putin yesterday, has entered its final stage. We hope that in the very near future we will be able to breathe easy in this regard,” he told VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin in response to a question whether Putin's actions could be seen as a ”signal.”

Yesterday, Russian President Vladimir Putin visited the headquarters in the Kursk region in military uniform.

This was the first visit of the President of Russia to the Kursk region since the attack of the AFU on the region.

There at the meeting Putin set the task to finally defeat the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region as soon as possible.
