Our very active dialogue and close cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran continued in 2024. This was stated by foreign minister Ararat Mirzoyan in the National Assembly of Armenia Friday—and during the debates on the implementation of the government's 2024 program.

"A very interesting fact: compared to 2023, trade between Armenia and Iran made up an amount equivalent to about 737.5 million US dollars; this is an increase of 6.5 percent, this is not the limit, not the threshold at all. A goal has been set and the leaders have set a task for the relevant departments to continue to considerably increase this number," added the Armenian FM.
