A telephone conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the initiative of the Armenian side.
During the talk, the Armenian premier confirmed that he accepted the invitation by the Russian president and will participate in the anniversary events to be held in Moscow on May 9—and devoted to the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War, the Kremlin reports.
Also, some matters of further development of mutually beneficial Russian-Armenian relations were touched upon.
