The United States intends to transport hundreds of units of equipment and vehicles from its military bases in Germany to Armenia’s military fields, reports RT.

According to documents reviewed by RT, this transportation is planned to be carried out through Georgia.

According to the US government procurement portal, the US army logistics command plans to carry out the transportation from the Germany’s Dulmen military base to Armenia’s Tsar military base.

The transportation is scheduled for start on July 16 and is expected to continue until August 7. And the return to Germany, as indicated in the tender for the provision of transportation services, is scheduled for August 21-September 20.

The respective contract provides also for the transportation of equipment from Armenia’s Armavir training military base to the Georgian port of Poti.

A total of 151 pieces of equipment are planned to be transported, including transport, generators, and special containers.

In addition to logistics, the US military is ordering such specific services as washing and disinfecting transport from African swine fever right at the Armenian military field.

Eight ambulances will also be delivered to Armenia as part of the contract. But there is a condition in the tender that the equipment cannot be transported through Russia, Turkey or Azerbaijan “due to difficulties with diplomatic permits.”
