Within the framework of our working visit to Israel, a memorandum of understanding was signed between SOCAR and Israeli company Union Energy on joint exploration activities in Israel's exclusive economic zone (EEZ). This was reported by Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikail Jabbarov.

“The realization of this agreement will contribute to the expansion of the network of international cooperation between the parties and will provide access to new energy resources,” he said.
