The Russian and US presidents, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, have opposed Iran taking a stance to destroy Israel. This is noted in a White House statement following the talks between the two heads of state, TASS reports.

“The two leaders shared the view that Iran should never be in a position to destroy Israel,” the statement noted, in particular.

And as reported by the Kremlin press service, the Russian president and his American counterpart agreed on joint efforts to stabilize the situation in crisis zones, and to establish cooperation on non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and global security.
