In recent days, some users have been publicizing various—moreover, untrue—information on social media about the frontline or army positions, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) of Armenia noted in a statement.

“In the event of an intensive, significant ceasefire violation, the RA [i.e. the Republic of Armenia] Ministry of Defense issues official statements, and refutes—in the prescribed manner, after multiple clarifications—the posts that constitute misinformation.

The Ministry of Defense urges to refrain from publicizing inaccurate, incorrect and fabricated information related to the army and the border situation, and to follow the official MoD news feed,” the statement added.
