Relations between Russia and Armenia have not been and cannot be broken off, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated, reports RIA Novosti.
“Armenia is a friendly country for us [Russia], a sovereign state, we have a lot in common—both at the bilateral level, both historically and culturally, and in terms of joint participation in such an important integration association as the Eurasian Economic Community,” Peskov added, speaking to reporters—and commenting on Armenian media reports about Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s order to all Armenian state agencies to restore ties with their Russian counterparts.
