Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and US Secretary of State Mark Rubio discussed the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan during talks in Washington. Hürriyet newspaper writes about this, citing diplomatic sources.
“They discussed arrangements for organizing visits at the level of heads of state in the future. The peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia was discussed. Finally, it was emphasized that the stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina is of great importance for the Balkan region,” the newspaper notes.
The newspaper also reported that Fidan and Rubio discussed the Syrian issue and “efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine”.
