During the lectures, participants learned about the dynamics of sports development in China, the peculiarities of organizing major sporting events, in particular the Olympic Games, as well as the interrelated strategies for the development of the sports and tourism spheres.
Industry experts explained how China is turning its sporting successes into a tool for economic growth and international influence. These approaches can also provide valuable guidance for other countries looking to develop their sports industry and expand their economic potential.
A breath of history and culture
In addition to professional meetings, the program included cultural visits, which allowed participants to get in direct contact with the centuries-old history of China.
The Great Wall of China left a special impression, standing on which one could not only enjoy the magnificent view, but also understand the historical significance of this engineering marvel. A visit to Tiananmen Square was also a great opportunity to gain a deep insight into China's historical heritage and at the same time witness the latest trends in its development.
Jinan
After a busy first week in Beijing, the seminar participants, including members of the Armenian delegation, traveled to Jinan. In the coming days, visits to local sports facilities are planned, which will familiarize them with the work of China's sports infrastructure.
