Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a telephone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, TRT World reported citing the Communications Department of the Turkish Presidential Administration.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations between Turkey and Iran and current regional and global issues.

Erdogan said the two sides will continue their efforts to develop Turkish-Iranian relations in the coming period further.

At the end of the conversation, Erdogan congratulated Masoud Pezeshkian on the occasion of Ramadan.
