German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has arrived in Armenia, Armenpress.am reports.

From March 30 to April 2, he will be in Armenia and Azerbaijan as part of a regional visit. This was reported earlier by the German presidential office. It was added that this is the first visit by the German president to these two countries.

Steinmeier is scheduled to meet with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan.
Also, he will visit the TUMO Center and participate in a cultural reception.

On the second day of his visit to Armenia, Steinmeier will leave for Dilijan, where he is scheduled to meet with Armenian women entrepreneurs and get familiarized with the urban development program.

The program also includes a visit to Sevan, the Armenian church, and a hydrometeorological measuring station.
