More than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip ever since the resumption of fighting on March 18, informed the health ministry of this Palestinian enclave.

A total of 1,001 people were killed and 2,359 others were injured in Gaza since March 18, the Gaza health ministry said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel.

The ministry added that the number of Palestinians killed since October 2023 has reached 50,357, and another 114,400 have been injured.
