President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian expressed hope for “effectual and successful” negotiations in his upcoming visit to Azerbaijan, Tasnim reports.

In a telephone conversation on Monday, President Pezeshkian and his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, exchanged congratulations on the Islamic festive occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

And pointing to his upcoming visit to Azerbaijan, Pezeshkian said, “I hope we would hold effectual and successful consultations during the trip in order to promote and strengthen the bilateral relations and the friendship and fraternity between the two neighboring nations."
