The number of Russian dollar billionaires in the Forbes world ranking has reached a new historical record. The list of the richest businessmen in the world includes 146 Russians, the previous record in the rating was recorded in 2024 - 125 people.

According to the Russian version of Forbes, the total wealth of the richest Russians for the year also updated the historical maximum - $625.5 billion. The leader of the list among Russian businessmen remains the founder of Lukoil Vagit Alekperov, for the year his fortune increased to $ 28.7 billion.

He is followed by Alexei Mordashov, the founder of Severstal, his capital is estimated at $28.6 billion. The third line is occupied by Leonid Mikhelson, the head of Novatek ($28.4 billion). 

Next in the rating is Vladimir Lisin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of NLMK ($26.5 bln). Vladimir Potanin, president of Nornickel ($24.2 bln), rounds out the top five.
