The positions of Azerbaijan and Armenia on achieving peace have become quite close. Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev stated this at a press conference after his meeting with visiting German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier on Wednesday, the Azerbaijani state-run AZERTAC news agency reports.
"This in itself shows how interested we are in signing a peace agreement," Aliyev added.
