Iran is following the development of events and Azerbaijan's behavior. Head of Armenia-Iran Cooperation Development Fund Puya Hosseini stated this in a conversation with journalists on April 3.

According to his assessment, Israel supplies Azerbaijan with weapons that are directed not only against Armenia, but also against Iran.

“If Iran weakens, they may take advantage of the situation and open a second front against it from the South Caucasus,” he believes.

Hosseini added that Iran and Armenia should establish security cooperation as they are interconnected in this issue. “Similar regional threats are looming over Iran and Armenia, so security cooperation should be increased to such a level to restore the broken balance,” he emphasized.
