The Catholic News Agency (CNA) ran an extensive article about the Armenian prisoners illegally held in Baku, the capital of Armenia.

The author of this article, the CNA's Washington correspondent Madalaine Elhabbal, spoke on the topic with renowned international human rights lawyer Jared Genser, the international lawyer of world-famous Armenian philanthropist, former state minister of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Ruben Vardanyan.

“Our request up front to the [Trump] administration has been quite clear: [A] deal for the release of Armenian Christian POWs must be a precondition to [a peace deal] moving forward, which has been the position of the administration,” Genser noted, in particular.
