Kirill Dmitriev, the CEO of the Russian Direct Investment Fund and Russian President Vladimir Putin’s special representative for economic cooperation with foreign countries, said in an interview with Fox News that US President Donald Trump’s administration has prevented World War 3.

"We are having good discussions. Our diplomatic people are also discussing possible outcomes. But there is no questions that President Trump's team not only stopped World War III from happening, but also had already achieved sizeable progress on Ukraine resolution," Dmitriev said.

Earlier, he informed a number of media outlets that he and some key members of US President Donald Trump's administration had discussed the matter of restoring dialogue between Moscow and Washington.
