Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted a delegation led by Vietnamese National Assembly chairman Tran Thanh Man, who is on an official visit to Armenia, the PM’s office informs.
The premier stressed the importance of developing friendly relations with Vietnam. Pashinyan noted that high-level visits between the two countries indicate mutual interest in further deepening and expanding of bilateral relations, which is a positive and welcome process.
Tran Thanh Man, in turn, emphasized that his visit to Armenia aims to further strengthen and deepen Armenia-Vietnam friendship.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral multi-sectoral cooperation, highlighting the need to develop specific measures and steps to intensify economic relations.
The interlocutors emphasized, in particular, the importance of continuing cooperation in the interparliamentary format, which can serve as an additional impetus for the development of bilateral ties.
Nikol Pashinyan and Tran Thanh Man exchanged views also on several matters of regional importance.
