The Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: Since April 7, the upcoming solo concert of Jennifer Lopez—J.Lo—to be held in Yerevan has caused a huge stir on the internet.

The fact that the American singer, who is well-known to the public, will give a solo concert in the RA is great. But to what extent it is a fact that the singer will come to Armenia is not clear, since the Republic of Armenia has confronted a similar incident once.

Let us recall that another artist was supposed to perform in Armenia, the American rapper Snoop Dogg, whose concert was originally scheduled for September 23, 2023, which was postponed, then canceled.

In the case of Snoop Dogg, it was known which company organized the rapper's concert in Yerevan. But in the case of J.Lo, everything is hazy, and so far it is not clear who organized the singer's concert.

Zhoghovurd Daily contacted the RA ESCS [i.e. Education, Science, Culture and Sports] Ministry, the RA Government, the Yerevan Municipality to find out whether or not these structures have any connection with J.Lo's concert to be held in Yerevan. However, we received a negative response from all of the noted structures.

Let us note that the singer's concert will take place at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium on August 3.

Zhoghovurd daily contacted also the representatives of the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium on the same matter. They conveyed from the stadium that they are not aware of anything.

It is not clear under whose sponsorship, efforts, and/or encouragement J.Lo is coming to Armenia; all that remains is to wait
