Armenian artist Raffi Tutukian was beaten in Lebanon.
The incident took place in Lebanese capital Beirut’s densely-Armenian-populated Bourj Hammoud district where Tutukian lives and works, Arevelk news agency's Lebanese sources report.
The attack on the Armenian artist was preceded by an argument. Two armed men, one of whom Tutukian had argued with, approached and beat him mercilessly.
After they left, Tutukian was taken to the hospital.
His injuries are not life threatening.
