Special units of the armed forces of Armenia and Iran will conduct a joint military exercise, called “Military Exercise of Peace,” at the border zone of the two countries on Thursday and Friday, the Iranian embassy in Armenia informs.
"This military exercise is designed to strengthen border security, prepare the armed forces of the two countries to confront potential threats, maintain stable peace, and increase defense and military cooperation.
It will be carried out simultaneously on both sides of the border—under a unified command.
This two-day joint military exercise demonstrates the commitment of Armenia and Iran to strengthening strategic relations between the two countries, ensuring peace and establishing security in the region," added the Iranian embassy in Armenia.
