The Zhoghovurd newspaper of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes as follows, in particular: According to the Zhoghovurd daily’s information, RF [(Russian Federation)] President Vladimir Putin will meet with Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev before the annual [military] parade to be held at the Red Square in Moscow on May 9.

According to information transmitted to us from Russian circles, they will reach an agreement that after the May holidays, the RA and Azerbaijan will sign, in Alma-Ata, some document on peace.

Kazakhstan—Alma-Ata— is not chosen by chance as the venue of signing, since it is by [Armenian PM Nikol] Pashinyan’s hands that the Alma-Ata Declaration has been put at the heart of the Armenian-Azerbaijani negotiations.

The Zhoghovurd daily tried to verify this information with the RA prime minister’s press secretary, Nazeli Baghdasaryan, but she refused to respond in any way.
