Nazeli Baghdasaryan, the press secretary of the prime minister of Armenia, has dismissed the reports circulating in the press that a trilateral meeting is scheduled for May 9 in Moscow between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

“There is no planned meeting in the Pashinyan-Putin-Aliyev trilateral format on May 9,” Baghdasaryan told Armenpress—and referring to the information previously disseminated in the media that Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev before the annual military parade to be held at Moscow’s Red Square on May 9.

During a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin on March 14, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had confirmed that he accepts the Russian president’s invitation and will attend the Victory Day celebrations to be held in Moscow on May 9.
