The serviceman who was injured in a landmine explosion in Gegharkunik Province of Armenia on Wednesday had his leg amputated, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned.
The Ministry of Defense (MoD) told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the soldier's injury is not life threatening, and he is under the medical supervision.
MoD spokesperson Aram Torosyan on Wednesday had informed that a serviceman of an Armenian military unit was injured in a landmine explosion.
